We are expecting our next litters in 2024. All plans listed are subject to change, please contact us directly for further information.
Our 2024 litter plans are in relation to the anticipated closure of the AKC Miniature American Shepherd stud book in January 2025 and we are using this year to complete our breeding plans that would bring additional genetic diversity into the breed and our program.
In 2025 we plan to go back to our more mature females for some of their final litters should the stud books close at that point. Breeding plans will be re-evaluated for that year should a stud book extension be granted.
Once mating has taken place and pregnancy has been confirmed ‘Breeding CONFIRMED’ will be added to respective listings. When the litter has been born ‘Current Puppies’ will be noted on that listing.
We hold a waiting list with a range of home types per litter. This is to ensure we don’t have an entire list of show/ sporting prospects for one litter – we evaluate all puppies prior to placing them to make sure they go into homes that are appropriate for that individual and the goals of their prospective puppy owners.
From time to time we have additional availability within a litter following evaluations.

We are expecting a litter from Detour with an outside stud, Copper. This is an exciting litter which allows us to include new genetics prior to the stud book closure. Puppies are anticipated to be SMALL and suitable for a range of homes. All colors possible in bicolor, tricolor and merle.
